I have been with AMAA since 1999, when my two older boys started training. I started training in 2003. After a short hiatus my family returned in 2009, my two older boys attained the rank of Black Belt in 2011 and myself, my husband and two younger boys attained the rank of Black Belt in 2012. I have been actively teach a class on Monday’s and Thursday’s for the past four years, I assist in the Red Belt Academy and work in After School Program.

I am actively involved in a local Boy Scout Troop of 90 boys ranging in age from 11 – 17, where I am an Assistant Scoutmaster. I help with our older scouts to get them to the rank of Eagle Scout. I am a Merit Badge counselor. I am a facilitator for a 25 climbing wall, where we belay scout up and down the wall (approximately 500 scouts in one day). I run a Archery Range and help run a Shooting Range. I have work at two local scout camps as a Campmaster and Camp Commissioner. My three oldest boys have attained the rank of Eagle and the youngest is almost done. Scouts and Karate have the same core values.

I am also the proud mom of an Active Duty Airman. I love to hike, bike, camp and paddle board.
